When we experience a life-threatening event, our brains and bodies may hold onto those intense memories and feelings of the trauma. This can lead to severe depression and anxiety and can even lead to substance use. Treating PTSD is not easy, but it can be done. We are here to help.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder which impacts a person’s social abilities, communication, and behavior. ASD typically presents in early childhood, and may persist throughout a person’s life. We work with individuals and their families to deepen their understanding of ASD and to identify methods to cope with it's challenges.
Bipolar Disorder is characterized by alternating episodes of elevated moods and episodes of depressed moods. If these symptoms worsen, they may progress to aggressive speech, grandiose thoughts, impulsiveness, and in extreme cases even psychosis. Without treatment, these symptoms may last for weeks and can ruin many aspects of life.
While anxiety can be a normal response to stressful situations, when excessive, it can significantly interfere with one’s daily life. Anxiety may be so overwhelming that it becomes difficult to control. If these feelings are not addressed, they may intensify to extreme levels. Luckily, effective therapies exist which can help alleviate these fears.
Although food is essential to life, it is often a source of extreme stress and anxiety. At times, trying to control the food we eat can interfere greatly with our life. In addition, it can also result in serious, and at times even life threatening health problems. Our eating disorder program is designed to help establish healthy and happy eating patterns.

Treatment Resistant Depression
Depression often fails to improve with standard medical treatments. Our Treatment Resistant Depression program provides unique approaches to the treatment of the depression. We incorporate aggressive medication management, psychotherapy, and when appropriate, cutting edge treatment for depression including intra-nasal Ketamine (Spravato). We are soon to offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as well.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Growing up can be a stressful and challenging process. This is often further complicated by concurrent family stress or mental health concerns. Our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program offers assistance with a wide range of childhood struggles including depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and autism. We provide the support needed for the entire family to help manage these difficult times.
Substance Abuse and Home Withdrawal Management
We provide a comprehensive approach to addiction management that includes therapy, treatment of underlying mental health disorders, and maintenance therapy when appropriate. During the early treatment phase, we offer intensive, home withdrawal management to help you ween off substances in the safety and support of your own home, often without the need for inpatient treatment
Family and Couples Therapy
Our unique approach couples and family therapy is designed so that all parties are heard and understood. Unlike traditional approaches, we provide each member with their own therapist or psychiatrist who will work both individually and together as a group. By combining individual and relationship therapy, we can optimize growth in all parties while simultaneously encouraging growth of the relationship as well.
