Stacy McAllister, MD

Stacy Mcallister - Psychiatric Associates of Pennsylvania

Dr. McAllister sees patients ranging from age 5-26, but can occasionally accommodate younger/older patients on a case-by-case basis. She conducts comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provides medication management for a variety of psychiatric presentations, including inattention, hyperactivity, behavioral/emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, and more. She is comfortable and experienced in working with LGBTQ youth, neurodiverse youth, complex family dynamics, and suicidality/self-harm. In all of her work with patients and families, she emphasize psychoeducation, strength-based supportive interventions, and trust/rapport building.

Dr. Stacy McAllister is a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Psychiatric Associates of Pennsylvania. Dr. McAllister is also board-certified in adult psychiatry. She currently practices with Psychiatric Associates of Pennsylvania, in Narberth, PA.

Dr. McAllister completes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children ages 5-18, as well as young adults up to the age of 26yrs. She treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, eating disorders, and more. Dr. McAllister believes in creating a strong therapeutic alliance with her patients and their families.

After completing medical school at Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Dr. McAllister completed her adult psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, and then child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
